I’m Piper Jo Nevins
I specialize in LGBTQ+ micro-weddings, family portraits and high school senior portraits.
Hi there! I'm the artist behind the camera at Piper Jo Nevins Photography. I’ve been working with LGBTQ+ couples and families since the early days of marriage equality in Massachusetts.
I focus on building relationships, meeting you right where you are in the moment to provide compassionate, responsive service and beautiful art for all your momentous occasions.
You Inspire My Style
My aim is to expand my creative vision through the inspiration you bring. I integrate multiple photography styles in order to best enhance any given moment.
My style elevates your personality with natural light and real expressions. I create art inspired by the beauty in you, in a safe, trusting environment. Trust is paramount in order that you can relax into our time together. From that place of comfort, your light and joy shines through, giving me the opportunity to uniquely highlight you and your truth.
During our ceremony, Piper was a calming presence. She was attuned to me and what I was feeling. She kept time for myself and family and just made me feel at ease. Pat was great with my wife. During the ceremony, they weren't intrusive and stayed in such good spirits the entire time. At the reception, they were awesome! My guests lovingly named them Paparazzi! The pictures were great! I fell in love with my photos immediately. We are very happy with the choice we made.
The photos you sent us, on our living room wall and in our photo album, captivate your unbelievable imagination, skill, and professionalism. They reveal the love you have for your work. Your ability to work with hotel management, the DJ, and our guests made the reception an unmitigated success. John and I felt comfortable with you by our side.
I understand weddings can be a hectic time with all the planning and choosing vendors and I will never regret our decision to go with Piper Jo Nevins Photography. She was extremely accommodating, understanding, and attentive. The day was quite emotional for me and it was very helpful having Piper by our side. She was very calming and always looked out for our best interest. Taking photos can be awkward sometimes but very quickly you forget you are being photographed and it just becomes fun.
